Mia’s 1st time in Brooklyn

Yesterday Mia and I took a gander from Chinatown to Brooklyn over the Williamsburg Bridge and visited the dudes at Fast Ashley’s Studio.  Not a bad walk despite a little bit of rain, Mia seemed to have a good time sniffing the smells of hipster doggies down Bedford Ave.

The Hunchback of New York

The quiet beast

Sometimes I feel bad that Mia doesn’t have a nice big park nearby to play and romp around in. It’s tough being a large city dog. Strangers love and welcome them on the streets, but otherwise they aren’t allowed in many places so it makes for integrating them into daily life a little more difficult. Unlike Paris Hilton, I would love to take Mia on the subways or bring her around when shopping so she gets to do more things. She needs a t-shirt that says “I’m a working dog” like this quack owner so she can have access to places. And if that’s not possible she should learn to read or surf the web.

Squeaky toys

squeaky

Hm.  I don’t remember where I got these.  I have a bunch of random little toys around the house and these sit in the window sill on the bathroom collecting bathroom dust.  Whenever Pill sees a macro shot of something in the house, it means, “Cil didn’t leave the house today and the mail wasn’t picked up.”  I guess that’s true 90% of the time… but I did leave the house today to walk the doggie!
