We ate at Joe Shanghai’s in Flushing which was a treat for them as much as it was for me since they pretty much only ever eat/make Korean food.

A visit to my parent’s house

My mom loves ginseng and my dad loves to drink. I’m glad to see they have a nice little compromise here.

Mia Super Dog
This is Mia the dog, cared for by Pill, the human, with occasional caring by me, the girlfriend. Mia is a great dog with smart eyes and jaunty ears. She has a tolerance for pain that would be considered impressive in a reality TV show for humans.

Thanksgiving!
Pil and I went to my parent’s house this Thanksgiving. Although this isn’t the house that I grew up in for most of my life, this is basically the environment that I grew up in, which is having decor like huge ass rosaries hanging around the house. Do you see the little red tassel hanging to the left of the rosary? That’s somebody’s ’92 graduation tassel (I have three siblings and we all went to college). The above rosary is large enough to fit around the neck of a Catholic Green Giant and best of all, it glows in the dark!
