About Me
Oh. No. Let me guess. Your first thought when coming to this blog was, “oh, she seems okay.” Secondary thoughts as you click on the “About” page is, “great, a cat lady.”
We all know what being a cat lady means: smart and independent, but crazy as a bat from having to scoop poop for a number of years. Most likely lives alone and most likely has other cats to come in the near future along with ratty wool/acrylic blend sweaters and enough bric-a-brac to put Goodwill to shame.
Well.
Fortunately I’m proud to say that I’ve been able to throw out plenty of bric-a-brac throughout the years and despite having a cat I actually think I’m pretty sane. This blog is just a way to continue to keep me semi on my toes in the visual world, to make my BFA in Photography not feel like an entire waste?
I was planning to let the blog dissipate into long ago memories, but due to popular demand (i.e. 1 Friend) I’m keeping this hobby alive! I’ve revamped the look and though still not ‘Daily’ in the traditional sense, I think I will be posting more regularly.
Mobile uploads come from the iPhone 3G and other images will either be from some digital camera (the horribly obsolete Canon 20D), scanned film or maybe some random alternative process I’m testing out along the way.
Thanks for visiting.

Blog 1.o (~2007-2008):

I’m impressed by the surreal quality you bring to your photographs. Your images are quite and gentle. Even the gun shooting range. I found that whole image of the holes in that fabric and the nature peeping behind it, hopeful. The contrast was beautiful. Also the medium format negs with the dust on them, also felt dreamy and surreal. Thanks for sharing. Mero~
