My new home

I recently moved to Boro Park in Brooklyn.  The light in my apartment is a dream so I finally got around to taking some photos of my place when it’s most magical looking.  Nowadays the place is super cozy and warm but I’m pretty sure that it will turn into a heat bomb sauna come summer.

Homemade Oatmeal Raisin Coookies

You know, I made these cookies without vanilla extract b/c I didn’t have any.  These cookies could taste like sh*t but you can’t really tell by the picture!!

But they did turn out pretty good, anyway.

PS 1

Swimmer

 

This Swimming Pool installation at PS 1 is really a neat idea.  I didn’t shoot this with an underwater camera, but with a regular old camera because there was no water to avoid!  It’s an optical illusion.  An optical experience?  That’s why my friend Lauren is pretending to swim instead of actually floating around. Yeah yeah, these pictures are essentially the same as the ones on the PS 1 site.

Halloween ’09-Mummified Pigs in a Blanket, people

This is long overdue but oh well.  These adorable and delicious mummy hotdogs were made by the bassist of Backlights! She used mustard to make the mummy eyes! What a great idea!!
