I didn’t have a wide angle lens so I stitched together a bunch of photos in Photoshop to try and emulate how incredibly beautiful this scene was from my window after a big thunderstorm on Friday early evening in the city. My friend took some great photos of the sky at the same time from his hood in Long Island City.

Mini Cupcakes were a hit!
Thanks Powers for helping me! I couldn’t have done it as well w/out your degrees in math and physics!
Jakey eating a cupcake with a frosting hat.

ICP Teen Academy
The high schoolers that learned to develop and print black and white film at The International Center of Photography, where I was a volunteer teaching assistant at for the last 10 weeks, had their final show today. Their images were great, and I don’t know why but it continually shocks me to see youth be as smart or smarter than so many adults I’ve come across. I feel like our future is in good hands (*tear).
On another note: my Saturdays are free again!!!
