Practicing a New Signature
Today I got my first fountain pen, a white Lamy Safari. I got a cheap one because I wanted one that I could take out and about and not regret it if I lost it. Fountain pens are sooooo cool. They write so easily, and the beauty of them is that the simple touch of the nib to the paper draws the ink out so there’s a distinct look to the penmanship by just changing the pressure. More info about the fountain pen can be found at this site. Anyway, this is another thing that has become a little bit of a geeky obsession for me lately.

Atlas Cafe in Williamsburg
A quiet and chill cafe that Pill and I hung out at before our big feast at Peter Luger’s Steakhouse in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We didn’t know that this place was called Atlas Cafe until I looked it up online afterwards but based on the big ass map on the wall Pill guessed the name to be “Thirsty Conquistador Cafe” and I just thought it was a more generic “World Cafe.”

Squeaky toys
Hm. I don’t remember where I got these. I have a bunch of random little toys around the house and these sit in the window sill on the bathroom collecting bathroom dust. Whenever Pill sees a macro shot of something in the house, it means, “Cil didn’t leave the house today and the mail wasn’t picked up.” I guess that’s true 90% of the time… but I did leave the house today to walk the doggie!
