Today I got my first fountain pen, a white Lamy Safari. I got a cheap one because I wanted one that I could take out and about and not regret it if I lost it. Fountain pens are sooooo cool. They write so easily, and the beauty of them is that the simple touch of the nib to the paper draws the ink out so there’s a distinct look to the penmanship by just changing the pressure.
