Shopping at thrift shops is fun again! There are so many in LA and they all seemed filled with unique and interesting things.

Schwinn Cruiser
Today on Venice Beach was the first time I ever rode a cruiser bike. It has a freewheel with coaster brakes, which means that it stops by peddling backwards. I want this bike to add to my collection, it’s so pleasant to ride and for some reason makes any place I’m biking through feel like the French countryside.

Millstone, New Jersey Represent
Today my band drove out an hour and a half to the Hunt Studio in Millstone, NJ on an invitation to play and record some songs as part of a compilation cd/dvd. The studio was actually pretty neat and the session was pretty fun, enough so that I completely forgot to ask about the deer heads on the wall.
